Pilot Trailer: The Pet Project—Covid Companions

In September 2020, The University of Tasmania's School of Creative Arts and Media teamed up with Clarence City Council to deliver a specialised workshop for community members wishing to enter the annual PoochibaldTM Prize. Participants shared stories of their relationships with their pets during Covid-19.

We love our pets ... and this short films highlights how special it is to have animal companions, and be able to paint them. This short video was part of the Hobart Current Liberty Loop Public Program which launched on the 24th March 2021 (Hobart, Australia).

It highlights how special the workshop has been for individual expression and creativity, and the important connections that participants have been made to others in their local community.
